4th Annual Muskoka Holiday Market
The streets of Downtown Huntsville will be transformed into a vibrant marketplace, adorned with festive decorations and warmed by outdoor fire pits. As you stroll through the enchanting displays, you’ll discover an array of unique and handcrafted treasures, each one a testament to the talent and creativity of the artisans.
But the festivities extend far beyond shopping. Prepare to be captivated by the enchanting performances of carolers and dancers, their movements and melodies evoking the magic of the season. Santa will be at the market from 1-5pm as well as the holiday train, buskers, and an evening portion from 5-8pm with twinkle lights, buskers, and a concert featuring “SHOUT! The Band”.
To kick off the weekend, we are also hosting our annual Customer Appreciation Crawl on Thursday, November 28th from 5PM-9PM and on Friday, November 29 at 5PM we will be hosting a Tree Lighting Ceremony in Kent Park!

2024 Huntsville Santa Claus Parade
The Rotary Club of North Muskoka presents the Huntsville Santa Claus Parade on Friday November 29, 2024 from 7-8pm! Enjoy one of the only local parades to run in the evening, allowing spectators to enjoy an illuminated parade.
Route: Along Main St/King William St – starting at Lorne Street and ending at Huntsville Place Mall.
THE TRAILBLAZER CLUB
PARENTAL ADVISORY - Time to banish boredom with our wilderness survival club. We are hosting weekly, after school clubs where kids experience hands-on bushcraft, fire lighting, outdoor cooking and wilderness survival skills. STARTING FEBRUARY 2024
These 4 week sessions every Tuesday will take place at MHA between 5-7pm. Our Wilderness Facilitators are extremely excited to bring the excitement of our Outdoor Ed program to kids 7-13!
Engaging kids outdoors is a way to awake their passion, creativity and confidence. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

The Yeti Lab
It all begins with adventure and creativity! We are about to open Muskoka’s First Adventure Park that will give kids a unique out of the box adventure that will challenge their body and mind! They will start in our biking circuit where they will learn valuable biking skills. From there they will shift into our Constructor Zone where they will dive head first into one of our builder challenges. They will then shift focus into our Maker Space where they were learn some awesome art techniques. Participants have a host of sign up options as well as a free open play choice as well! Trailblazer Summer Wilderness Camps
Ordinary Kids Experiencing Outbursts of greatness. Flipping traditional summer camp on its head with our wilderness survival and bushcraft skills course. Kids will learn fire building, camp chair design, outdoor cooking, structure building and so much more as they design their campsite and go Wild in the beautiful Muskoka Woods!
Nuit Blanche Muskoka 2024
Recognized as a signature Huntsville event, Nuit Blanche North (NbN) is a bold interactive multi-arts street festival taking place in Downtown Huntsville, Ontario. For one night only from 8pm to 2am, the streets of downtown Huntsville will come alive with an exciting program of contemporary artistic activities, events and exhibits taking place in unconventional places in and around the downtown core.
Come Join us at our Construction Booth where participants will take on the challenge using ordinary everyday items to create works of art. Art and expressionism can come in many forms and anyone can be an artist using their creativity and personality.

2nd Annual Mountain Bike Mayhem
Muskoka Highlands Academy hosts its 2nd Annual mountain bike skills event for kids in collaboration with Huntsville Mountain Bike Association.
Bring your bikes, protective gear if you have and HELMETS ARE MANDATORY!
This is designed to be a fun event with mini obstacle courses set up for beginning to intermediate riders. Mountain biking experts will be here to give tips and coaching to help kids become more curious and confident bikers.
No experience necessary, all ages and abilities welcome. Join us for a fun evening and a great way to kick off a summer filled with lots of biking and laughs. Go through the course as many times as you like.
BBQ and water for purchase. This event is open to the community and anyone can attend!
All Entry fee proceeds will be donated to Food4Kids Muskoka!

Welcome to our fun and adventurous survivor challenge for kids ages 7-13! This program is hosted by Muskoka Highlands Academy in Huntsville. We are hosting this experience at Hidden Valley Ski Club on Friday May 17th, 24th, 31st and June 7th, 2024.
This fun 4-week program is designed to teach kids wild outdoor skills while learning in our beautiful outdoor setting. Discovering new topics and ideas to boosts our creativity and curiosity. The Huntsville BIA is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual Muskoka Market: Huntsville Holiday Edition! We are working with local partners to bring our community together to shop local and take part in some holiday cheer on Saturday, November 25th from 10AM to 6PM and Sunday, November 26th from 11AM - 3PM. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be joining us! We will be decorating the streets in holiday cheer and have warming outdoor fire pits. Carolers and dancers, as well as an organized shopping experience for kids. You can expect giveaways and so much more!

MHA's Kindergarten “Play Date”
We would like to invite all our families and prospective new families to our Kindergarten and Chili Cook Off event. This night will give new families the opportunity to come check out the school, meet our wonder staff, tour the classroom and get some more information on our Kindergarten program here at MHA. We will have the fire pit going and encourage families to roast marshmallows, participate in a few games and socialize with one another.

MHA'S Harvest Pasta Potluck
We hope you are enjoying these glorious first days of fall! Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we are feeling like there is so much to give thanks about this year and we thought it would be a fun way to come together and share before the Thanksgiving long weekend.
MHA is hosting its first Wild Harvest Pasta Potluck on Thursday October 5th after school at 4pm-6pm. Bring your best family pasta sauce to share with our community! Pesto, alfredo, meat sauce, carbonara, marinara, whichever you like! We want to taste it! We will be providing the pasta to go with your delicious sauces.
We invite you and your families and any friends who would like to join us to sit by a campfire, enjoy homemade pasta, sample some delicious forest treats cooked up by our very own foraging guide Miss Jessi Preistly and roast some marshmallows together. Bring your camping chairs and blankets and enjoy time with friends and family.
There is a $10 dollar flat rate fee to attend per family, please RSVP at hello@muskokahighlandsacademy.com. We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
KIDS VS PARENTS BEACH BONANZA
What better way to leap into fall and the back to school spirit then with a little competition between kids and parents. This is a fun opportunity for kids to show parents what they’re made of and for parents to show kids they can roll up their sleeves and get dirty too. We all need an excuse to have some good ol' fashion fun.
This will be a high energy event where families embark on 3 harrowing challenges to see who is the most daring, most creative and most committed to rising to the top.

When families arrive kids join together in groups of 4-6 kids and parents group together in 4-6 adults. You will then compete in each of the challenges above to see who wins. The winner of each challenge wins a delicious prize. At the end of the challenges there will be an opportunity to buy some great items at our BBQ! Or team up again to compete in any event you like!
Of course these are all family friendly challenges and open to all ages. Come out for one last hooray to end the summer. Entry to this event is FREE with a non-perishable food donation to the TABLE FOOD BANK that you will bring to the event! We invite not only our families but everyone in the community to come and join us for what will be an awesome end to summer!
